10. Describe your most embarrassing moment?
Oh my goodness how to choose just one lol....
I don't think I have "one" most embarrassing moment so here are a couple of little moments.
1. During the ceremony of our wedding, I guess I was anxious to say I do. The preacher had a small little pause during the whole "Do you Kimberly, take Kevin to blah blah blah". Before he could get the whole sentence out I said "I DO" and he kind of looked at me like your not supposed to say that yet. He made a comment about how eager I must have been to get married. Everyone laughed. My face turned red.
2. After 22 hours of labor with Kaden I ended up having to have a c-section. I had already had several hits of the epidural and so I couldn't feel anything from the waist down. The nurses were moving me from the hospital bed to the operating table and I farted really loud. It got really quiet in the OR and the only thing I could think to do was just admit it was me.
3. My freshman year of high school I was attempting a back handspring on the football field during halftime. My coach was supposed to be spotting me but wasn't looking when I went to throw it and I landed on my head in front of everyone.
4. On my 21st birthday I didn't know if I was a batter or a catcher (bathroom names at the bar we were at) and I ended up throwing up in the middle of the bathroom doors. To make it worse my friend came in yelling that it was me who threw up.
5. The day I got fired from my job I locked my keys in my car while still at work. Oh and the fact that I got fired.

9/30 Things: People
To know what I am talking about read here...
9. List 10 people who have influenced you and describe how...
9. List 10 people who have influenced you and describe how...
Kevin Robert
Where do I begin? Kevin has taught me to be vulnerable and trusting. He has taught me to love whole heartedly. He taught me to be more optimistic. He has made me feel deserving of a love that I never that was possible.
Kaden Robert
Kaden was my first born son. He has taught me patience and unconditional love. He has opened my eyes to a whole different world.
Karsyn Renae
Karsyn has helped me to be a better wife and mother. I want to inspire the same virtues that I have as a wife and mother onto her. I can only hope that one day she will get to be one.
Donna
Oh man, I could fill up a whole page on just my Momma alone. My mom has made me the women I am today. I love the way I love because of her. I have learned to own my mistakes and to forgive others for their mistakes. I am the mother I am because of her.
Rick
My dad has influenced my talents for photography and design. He started my love for picture taking. I get my creative talents from him.
Carol
My gramma has taught me strength.
Bob
My grandfather has taught me the value of family. He has taught me that education is the most important (which I will pass along to my children seeing as how it skipped me).
Carol and Dennis
My in-laws have such respect for their son and because of that I strive to be the best wife to him. I love the love that they have for each other and how easily they make a marriage look. I can only hope that Kevin and I can have what they have.
Scottie Montgomery
My dance teacher influenced my love for dance.
Jenny
My cheer leading coach. She has also taught me strength. I went through some bullying in high school and even when I wanted to give up and quit, she taught me to stand tall and face my fears.

Happy 2nd Birthday Baby Girl
My sweet little princess, today you turn TWO years old! I cannot believe you are already 2. It seems like just yesterday I was in triage hooked up to monitors to see if I was actually in labor, only to find out my contractions had stopped and I was sent home returning a couple hours later to give birth to you. You were so tiny and so beautiful. I was in complete awe of you. You and I have always had a very special bond. I am so proud to be your mother. Everyone in the family feel so blessed that you are in our lives.
We will celebrate your birthday tomorrow with all of your family and friends. Your party is going to be Ah-mazing! I have been working for months on creating a fun filled day for you. The theme of your party is Art/Painting party. We will have a painting table with canvas's to paint on. A sand table where you will be able to create your own jar of pretty sand. You will be able to decorate your own apron with stickers and markers. We will have yummy foods to snack on and lemonade to quench your thirst. I am very excited to see you having so much fun. You LOVE to color and get messy.
Yesterday Daddy and I took you to Build A Bear to celebrate your birthday with just you. You LOVE your stuffed animals, so we figured you would get a kick our of making your own bear. I thought for sure you would want to be involved with every process but instead all you wanted to do was run around the store and collect all the purses and small stuffed animals your could fit onto your arms and in your hands. It wasn't what I was expecting you to do, but at least you had fun. You did however pick out your own bear!
Here is just a little update on what you are into right now.

8/30 Things: Passions
To know what I am talking about start here...
8. What are 5 of your passions?
1. Being a daughter. I love my mom and my dad very much. I love keeping in touch with them and letting them know everything that is going on in my life and my children's lives.
2. Being a mother. My children have my heart. I work everyday to try to be the best mom I can be. I stay as involved in their lives as possible.
3. Being a wife. After 4 years of marriage and two kids, it gets difficult to get the romance in a relationship. As a wife I try to keep things as fresh as we can.
4. Photography. I am not good at it by all means. Most of my shots are candid shots and most are out of focus but this is such a passion of mine. When I am older I will be able to look back on these photos with happy memories of the life I shared with the people in the photographs.
5. Being a child of God. I may not go to church as often as some people might think I should. But I love my heavenly father and everything that he has given to me.

7/30 Things: Dream Job(s)
7. What is your Dream Job?
I already have my dream job. I am a stay at home mom. I wish I could be more of a "dream mom". I wish I could keep the house cleaner and always have dinner prepared and ready for when my husband comes home. I wish I was more patient with the kids. I wish I could always have some sort of fun activity to do with the kids. Unfortunately I was not blessed with the "supermom" powers. I still at least get to do what I love!
There are some other jobs I would have loved to have had. Maybe one day these could be possibilities.
1. A photographer. My dad got into photography a few years ago and since then I have always wanted to learn the camera myself. I would love to know how to take beautiful pictures. I would also love to know how to use photo shop.
2. A chef. Since getting married, I have become quite the Betty Crocker/Martha Stewart in the kitchen. I LOVE cooking and baking. I am always trying new recipes. Since the invention of Pinterest I have cooked a lot of tasty meals for my family.
3. An Interior Designer. I love anything and everything design. I am always changing things up in our house. Our most recent project is repainting our interior. I think it would be a lot of fun to decorate people's houses for a living.
4 A Fashion designer. Again, my love for design. I don't even think I would care if I was designing for other people. I would be happy just being able to design outfits for myself.
5. A nurse on the OB floor. I think maybe my love/yearning for more babies might subside if I were to be able to deliver them and see them everyday. I think bringing new life into the world would be an amazing and rewarding job.
So, if I didn't already have my dream job these would be my other ones! My kids will soon be grown and going into school and one of these maybe an option for me, who knows!

6/30 Things: Hardest
to start from the beginning click here.
6. What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced.
This one is a toughie. Compared to what some people have been through in their lives, I really don't think I have had a difficult experience. I think that I am still experiencing one of the hardest things in life and that is parenthood. But that is a never ending experience.
I guess I would have to say the hardest thing I have ever experienced was probably the months, weeks, days leading up to my grammas death. She got sick so suddenly and no one was expecting it or prepared.
I remember being out with some friends it was a Friday or Saturday night. Luckily I told my mom where I was going and actually stuck with the plan. I don't really remember exactly what happened, but I remember my dad showing up to get me. He told me that my gramma was sick and she was in the hospital in critical condition. It was late and I remember the car ride was very quiet. The radio was playing "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain. That song is forever embedded into my memory from that night. The hospital was strangely quiet that night. My gramma was in the ICU waiting to go back into surgery. My whole entire family was there including a close family friend and my dad. I ran to my mom as soon as I saw her and we just cried. They told me that the doctors think that gramma had a heart attack and that her organs were failing. They told us that there may be a bowl obstruction and that they needed to take her back to surgery as soon as possible. They had to wait though until her blood pressure evened out. It would get really high and then suddenly drop to nothing. The doctors told us that the surgery had a 20% survival rate. Those hours were the worst hours of my life. I remember them so vividly. At that moment I couldn't remember the last words I said to my gramma. I wanted to remember so badly but couldn't. After many hours the doctors came in and told us that she survived the surgery and she was stable. Obviously the next 48-72 hours were critical. They would keep her in the ICU until she was stable enough to be moved to another room. There was no bowl obstruction and they think she may have suffered another heart attack during the surgery. She went on from that day to spending about 2 months in the ICU. She had to have a tracheotomy and couldn't speak. She had a feeding tube. I spent my lunch hours from work visiting her and talking to her. The doctors were optimistic about her recovery and thought that she would be better off at a rehabilitation center in Panama City Beach. They thought she could possibly get off the respirator and start breathing on her own. She spent several weeks at the center. She would have good days and bad days. On her good days she was actually strong enough to be propped up in a chair in her room. On her bad days they would call us and tell us that these might be her final moments. We would all rush to see her and then she would make a turn for the better. I didn't visit as often when she was there. The drive was a bit much every weekend for me.
I was picking up a few things from the store. It was early evening. My cell phone rang and it was my mom. She wasn't crying but I could tell something was wrong in her voice. My first words were "gramma passed, didn't she"? My mom said yes. I said "okay". I hung up and finished my shopping. I was staying the night with my boyfriend at the time. I texted him that my gramma passed away. He came straight home from school. I remember collapsing on his bathroom floor and I just bawled. I knew this day was coming but then again I didn't. The doctors had given us hope that she could pull through.
Her service was beautiful. All her church family were there. They dedicated all the songs that the choir sang that Sunday morning to her. They even left her chair open with her tiny little box that she needed to stand on to help her feet sit flat while she sang. After the church service, we had the memorial service. Friends and family got up to speak about her life. There was some laughter and some tears. I wrote a speech and made my way through it. I also dedicated "The Rose" by Bette Midler to her. Her favorite flower was the yellow rose. She was cremated so it was a week or two before the burial. We had a small family service for that.
There is one moment that I will never forget. It was several days after her passing. I was visiting the house that her and my Papa lived in. The house I was raised in. It was on the market but there was still boxes inside. There was a beautiful magnolia tree in the front yard that I used to climb. I was leaving and as I was walking under this tree to get to my car, the biggest gust of wind surrounded me. It had been a warm spring day and this wind was so refreshing. I could almost hear it speak to me. It was my gramma letting me know she was okay and not to be sad. I remember looking up to the sky and thanking her for that.
I still to this day miss her so very much. Now that my Papa is in heaven with her I feel as though I miss her more. I wish she was here to see her great grandchildren. I hope she is looking down on me and smiling!

5/30 Things: Happiest
5. What are the 5 things that make you most happy right now?
1. Party Planning. I am in serious party planning mode for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I love being able to be creative and crafty. I love throwing parties and seeing the kids faces when they are having so much fun. It makes me so happy!
2. One of my children is potty trained and out of diapers.
3. Being a mother. My children have made me the happiest I have ever been in my life. I wake up every day with a smile on my face just knowing that I get to see them.
4. Being able to blog and write about my feelings.
5. I am most happy that my Uncle was not hurt in the explosion at the Boston Marathon. He finished about 30 minutes before the blast went off. We may not be close in miles or even in our relationship anymore but I thank God that he is still here with us!
