Nailed It

My nails and hands were in need of a little TLC yesterday. What better way to spend a little time on my Sunday afternoon then giving myself an at home manicure. Afterwards my nails look mighty fine and my hands felt super soft and moisturized.

My manicure routine isn't anything spectacular but it gets the job done and is pretty quick.

Here is what I did....

First Step:

Remove any nail polish from a previous manicure.

Second Step:

Soak nails in warm, soapy water for 8-10 minutes.

Third Step:

File nails. Start from the outer corners and file towards the tip. File in one direction instead of going back and forth.

Fourth Step:

Soak nails for another 8-10 minutes in warm water with a little bit of olive oil and or lemon juice. The olive oil will moisturize your nails and hands.

Fifth Step:

I add a a drop of this miracle growth serum to my cuticles and then apply lotion to my hands. I have noticed a huge difference in how quickly my nails grow and have become stronger since using the serum.

Sixth Step:

Choose your colors and apply a base coat.

Last Step:

Apply your two coats of your nail polish and a fast drying top coat. My favorite is Seche Vite. It dries really quickly and makes my nails super shiny.

Viola!

Now you have a salon looking manicure that didn't cost your 30+ plus and took less then 30 minutes.

I am obsessed with this HOT pink color. It is ORLY "Oh Cabana Boy".
