One of the things I love about Kaden being in school is that he gets to attend the birthday parties for all the other kids. This month has been a BIG birthday month for the kids in his class. Three weeks ago there was a birthday for a little girl in his class Diana. We were not able to attend that one nor did we attend Elsie Ann's birthday party the weekend after that because of Karsyn's beauty pageant. This past weekend however, we made up for missing those. There were two parties for classmates and then we also celebrated my birthday. Saturday we celebrated Chloe's birthday at the Tallahassee Museum. It was a Jake and the Never land Pirates theme. When we got to the party, we went on the nature trail and saw all the animals. The kids got to play on the playground and have an egg hunt for treasure! They had pizza that was catered by Chloe's dad who works at Barnaby's Pizza. The kids got to eat cookie cake and watch Chloe open her presents. Kaden had a blast. Most of his classmates were there to celebrate.
On Sunday, we helped celebrate Bryson's birthday at Trousdell Gymnastics center. It was such a neat party. The place was only open for the birthday guests so we had the whole gym to ourselves. They had several trainers there that helped the kids with all the different stations. They had a bounce house and the got to jump on the trampoline and play in the foam pit. They had a foam ball fight which was really fun to watch and they all sang Happy Birthday underneath the big parachute. The best part about the party was all the adults got to relax and watch all of this because the trainers did the work! There was a small room that we all had cake and ice cream in. The kids REALLY had some fun. Kaden loved the party. This will be something I will remember for one of our kids parties!
Later that day, Kevin and I got ready to go out to eat for my birthday. His parents kept the kids for us and set up for cake with the other grandparents while we were gone. Kevin and I went to Carrabas for dinner. It was delish. My mom bought a really cute cake for me. Kaden got to help me blow out the candles. It was a really nice ending to a very busy weekend!
I will post pictures soon!
