Kevin was supposed to work a car sale today but it ended up being canceled. I like that it got canceled and we were able to spend the day as a family. We made plans to go to the Jr. Museum. By the time we all got dressed and packed and put air in the tires of the jogging stroller it was 11am. It was hot as heck outside by this time. Since Kaden is still getting over being sick and is on medication I didn't want to get him too worked up. On a whim we decided to go to the driving range and hit some golf balls. It was still hot as heck and he probably got just as red hitting golf balls as he would running around at the museum but we didn't have to spend any money and we could leave whenever. My mom and my step dad met us at the golf course. My mom and Karsyn and I had lunch at the resturant while the boys had fun hitting golf balls. We were about 100 yards from where they were playing and we could hear Kaden squeling with excitement. He would tell Papa and Daddy "nice shot" after they hit a ball. When he would hit one and it went far he would say "I did it" He was so happy. Kaden always talks about playing golf and wanting to go to the golf course with daddy. He gets to putt around in the back yard with his little clubs but it doesn't compare to being out there with all the "big guys" with all that green in front of you. On our way out he got to ride in the golf cart with one of the cart girls which he was over the moon about. The girl was really nice and even offered to babysit for us. Kevin was telling my step dad about Kaden meeting this girl and being able to get her number lol. He has game!
We cooled off at the snowcone place. Kaden loves getting the green spearmint snowcone. He calls it the "peermint crazy snowball".
